Chain Smoker 03:05
A penny for your thoughts mister dying man Are you just like me but with a shorter life span? Are you getting to the stage where you can’t work out if its worth it? A bullet and an arrow couldn’t bring you down You have instinct. Your skin is thicker than that. But the smoke alarm in your studio flat wasn’t working Unhook your veins Let’s go on a chain smoking holiday To a place with a view Where we can pace maker foraging We’ll rent a car and drive to Lands End The salesman said “no smoking” but, fuck it, have a cigarette It’s no fun driving with a crystal clear view Do a hundred miles an hour in a smoke filled room Fasten your seatbelt and pass me a light.

I like to watch demolition artists Reduce skyscrapers to cloud collect the dust into empty jars And store them on shelves all around the house Keep away from my lemon juicer I have to prevent contamination It is a part of a daily routine It is a bitter satisfaction. There is a beauty in the destroyed. Twisting the landscapes As an occupation I find that fascinating To witness a whole generation Crumbled and put into transportation To build countless separate foundations To support an ever-growing population In our natural simulation Qu’est-que ça? I am Beerus the Destroyer You are a speck in the sky Embrace the need to dismantle The bricks of humanity As if on a battlefield With awkward and irrational rage

Focus 03:50
Strip your clothes off Lie down on the mattress Close your eyes and pretend your God The short-term bank has a limited capacity So you need to let it empty regularly It is strange how time slows as your chemicals balance out And you wake up in a different world An alternative land Waking up should not be this difficult Just ascending to a neutral state To gain focus You need more time To get out of bed I get the feeling you are finding it hard to relate To the system in play The routine each day Everyone must fit the criteria So decide whether to buckle down Or just get out Just get out I need more time To clear my head And to gain focus Just to gain focus

about

Loose Joints London, UK

We are a four-piece rock band from Coggeshall, deep in the heart of Essex; the county that brought you people who have influenced the world hugely such as Blur, The Prodigy and.. Joey Essex. Init.

Our music is best described as a funk-rock pie, with a side helping of reggae, all washed down with a nice pint of blues.
We are Loose Joints..if you think you may be ready..you're probably not.
